Those that come to our shows, know that we love 80's music.  And when it comes to 80's music, there is no pop star bigger than Michael Jackson.  I won't lie, Dirt Cheap!!! loves Michael Jackson music.  I can admit it.  And when we play the songs, people pack the dance floor.  Whether or not you thought he was strange, or just weird, there is just no denying that he was an exceptional singer and songwriter.  He wrote the soundtrack for Generation X, and there will not be another one like him.  Like Elvis before him, he set trends, showed us the dance moves, and entertained us, like entertainers should; and set the bar high for those in his wake.   He was as entertaining to watch, as he was to listen to.  Like all great entertainers, he was here, made his mark, and left sooner than we expected.  His music lives on.  We're playing it and you can hear it for yourself this Saturday! blog comments powered by Disqus
